EPMS Limited have aquired a new winding jig

EPMS Limited has recently expanded its capabilities with the acquisition of a new winding jig designed for winding and rewinding AC and AD coils. This versatile machine can handle a wide variety of coil types, including electromagnetic, furnace, transformer, and resin-cast coils. Capable of supporting up to 4 tons in weight, the winding jig accommodates coil diameters up to 1.6 meters and lengths exceeding 3 meters. The soft-start inverter system ensures precise speed and tension control, allowing for superior coil winding, even in tight spaces.In line with company growth, EPMS Limited also transitioned to a limited company structure in March 2012, in accordance with the Companies Act 2006, now operating as Electromagnetic Power and Mechanical Solutions Limited Ltd (Company number 7990536).Earlier this year, the company supplied a 1200mm electro drum magnet to Dalton Metal Recycling in Broxburn, Scotland, to support ferrous separation at their new shredder installation. The magnet was wound and assembled at the company’s Erdington workshop.
